Position: Driver Lead
Compensation: $27-29 per hour
Location: Sarasota, FL
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday days
Description:
We're working with a top 10 company in the food/beverage industry in search of a high performing Driver Lead. This individual will be responsible for 5-7 company drivers. Responsibilities:
-Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner
-Meeting and exceeding company departmental standards and metrics
-Train and coach staff and drivers on safety procedures
-Ensure all vehicles are being maintained and preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to
-Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping, receiving, delivery, and pickups across various routes
MUST Haves:
-Strong knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
-Leadership experience
-1+ year as a truck driver
-Valid Driver's License
-Strong track record of exceeding expectations
Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of transportation management systems
- Strong analytical and budgetary skills
